Welcome to The Spoken Bible: The Bible as it was meant to be heard.

I aim to create an audio recording of the Bible that sounds as if it were being told to someone, not read to them.
That is, spoken.
I’m recording the NET Bible® (NET). Besides having a very accommodating copyright policy, the NET Bible® sounds very natural when spoken. I encourage you to also read the NET Bible® for yourself and make use of the 55,000 plus translation notes that document the decisions and choices the translators made as they worked.
I’m selectively choosing books from the Old and New Testaments to record. It may take me several years to finish them all, but it will be worth it!
